Everything but the lid....

I really love the 32oz insulated bottle. The rubber bottom is great and the opening for the mouthpiece is the right size. My only complaint would be that the lid starts to smell and I haven't ever had an issue with any other water bottle before. I wash in soap and water and then scalding hot water. The lid will smell after a few hours of use. I don't consider myself a dirty person and I brush my teeth regularly like any normal person, so this is a little embarrassing to write a review about, but seriously.... what the heck? Other than that this is my favorite water bottle I have ever purchased. It keeps my water cold and the teal color is bright and easily identifiable!

Hi, I'm sorry your lid is starting to smell. Sounds like you need to wash the O-Rings in the lid. We recommend removing O-Rings occasionally. For a deep cleaning, we suggest cleaning the Lid O-Rings with a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar.

Almost perfect

The Actives bottle is an improvement from the Originals bottle, where it was almost impossible for me to take out the plastic O-ring to clean. Now I don't have to use a knife to get it out because it has a tab to grab and help get the ring out. 2 issues though....the larger silicone ring is really hard to get back on! You kind of need another hand. I get my daughter to help me. Another issue is that the underside of the top seems to have a crevice around it and I'm worried that mold and mildew can lurk in there over time and I'll never know. The manufacturer should create a better mold to eliminate that crevice. Almost perfect.

Rubber bases

Mostly love these water bottles, but why doesn’t the official website sell the rubber bases in the same place they sell the spouts? I’ve lost a couple of these already and it’s not easy to replace in the same color you bought them.

I am so disappointed; I read reviews that said Takeyausa water bottles left no aftertaste even though made of metal. Bought a 2 pack. Sadly, the water has such a strong metallic taste, it is virtually undrinkable to both users, even when ice cold. Back to glass or plastic bottles!

Fantastic Spill-Proof Bottle

Purchased the 24oz Actives insulated bottle with Spout lid in Cobalt blue on June 1st, 2021 and have used it virtually every day since. I use it throughout my entire daily routine, whether I'm exercising, working at my desk, running errands, or just chilling out, the bottle works great for all of these scenarios.
The spill-proof screw-on lid works perfectly. I've thrown it into a hiking backpack with a bunch of other items, placed it horizontally on seats in the car, and even dropped it a couple times, and it hasn't leaked once.
The insulation also works very well. Left it in the car several times during the hot summer months for a few hours and the water stayed cool (I don't typically use ice cubes). Also used it at the beach where it was in direct sunlight and the water stayed cool as well.
Really like the silicone sleeve on the bottom as it not only protects both the bottle and whatever surface you're putting it on, but also keeps it quiet when placing the bottle onto surfaces instead of making a bonging metallic noise like it would without the sleeve.
The handle is very useful and find it to be sturdy enough for normal use.
Measured the outer diameter using a digital caliper.
- With the silicone sleeve, the diameter is 3 5/32" (~80.2mm)
- Without the silicone sleeve (just the bare bottle), the diameter is 3 1/32" (~80mm)

With the silicone sleeve, the bottle usually does not fit all the way down into most automobile cup holders, but does manage to fit in enough to keep it secure. Without the sleeve, it fits down further and more securely.
The lid has two gaskets that keep this bottle water-tight; one for the main cap and one for the screw-on style spout cap. These gaskets (especially the spout cap one) must be removed and cleaned frequently, or an unpleasant odor will start to be noticed. The gaskets are a little tricky to remove, especially when wet, but isn't that hard.
Overall, this bottle is fantastic and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a spill-proof insulated bottle.
