I bought this chair about a month ago. The only assembly needed was to attach the fabric-covered back to the frame. The top two fasteners were threaded screws/bolts that screwed into metal threaded inserts in the fabric back. Those fasteners worked well and felt secure. The other four fasteners were wood screws, two down each side of the frame. When I screwed those screws into the wood inside the fabric back, I didn't get a good sense that they were well seated. The wood inside seemed fairly thin like it wouldn't provide much thickness for the screws to bite into. I wish all of the fasteners were like the top two with threaded metal inserts inside the fabric back.
