I like a bright, vibrant and saturated picture--and you get that, but not out of the box. I don't know what the hype is with HDR, but I achieved my desired picture by turning it off and HEAVILY tweaking the brightness, contrast, color saturation and bias.
However, im very pleased because I get the picture I want with smooth response times. G-sync stays ON, ghosts will haunt you if you turn it off. So if you just want the response times of a monitor and the glory of a large 4k tv, THAT DOESN'T HAVE BURN IN...Then look no further.

Nice sharp 4k image, sturdy stand holds screen up at good height for my living room setup, controls let you dial in natural looking image that's not overly bright, with deep blacks, adaptive sync is working with my Nvidia video card, great monitor for gaming or video watching. Make sure your viewing distance is adequate (at least 43" from screen) or colors won't be consistent from edge to center. No ugly power brick and monitor never gets hot!
