Assumed it was for adults. Not "ergonomic" if too small. I'm only 5'8". Might work for someone 5 foot to 5'4". Padding in arms is very thin. Seat is a bit hard. Maybe the idea is for a small office.

I am very happy with this chair. I thought the price was very good. It looks nice and feels comfortable. I am 5'4", female, and often find seats to be too deep. This chair fits me comfortably. I purchased the one in fabric and if I could do it again, I would choose the leather since my dog (chihuahua) likes to sit on the seat with me! But it is nice looking material as is.

These chairs are very comfortable. I would recommend these chairs for any place of business. We use them for a conference room, but I would also recommend them for office chairs too.
