Not worth the effort

Worst laptop experience trying to connect to the internet.. frustrating and annoying gets to a certain point and just freezes up when asked to connect to my Wi-Fi will be returning this half product!! Support is terrible!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

On the contrary, lots of satisfied customers, having positive experience using the product will agree that it is a decent entry-level laptop that runs popular basic and light computing applications without compromising system stability and performance if Windows, drivers are up to date, and has an access to a stable and working internet connection while accessing the web.




All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. To resolve the issue regarding the internet connection problem, please verify if the laptop is within range to an established wireless router or access point and internet service is working properly since unstable and poor internet connection will definitely cause system performance issues, just like connection to the web. Also, please verify if the unit is running with the most current Windows and WIFI driver update.

I absolutely love my new asus laptop. Its fast and my favorite thing about it is the back light on the keyboard. Works great for me once my husband goes to sleep.

Great technology at an outstanding price

I am retired and wanted a great laptop at a low price for keeping track of finances, surfing the net, writings, and pictures. This laptop delivered far more than expected at a terrific price. ASUS offers the best reliability too.

I purchased this laptop to replace my HP, with a dying interior battery. My old lap top with all it's issues is faster than this ASUS, not so great a deal, laptop. I am so sorry thatI purchased it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you are experiencing slow system speed or performance, please check if Windows, driver and applicaitons are up to date. Keepingthe laptop updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. While accessing web applications, please ensure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor, or unstable internet connection will definitely affect system speed and performance. Also, clearing internet cache or browsing history will improve system performance. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application.
