No Hulu App

Pros:Awesome projector with adequate versatility and input options.Great picture and sound quality. Although better speaker would be nice.

A Real Winner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really would only give this 4.5 stars for only one reason. I cannot understand why this particular product does not have all of the same apps that my LG OLED TV does. For example. there is no Hulu app, no YoutubeTV app and no Paramount+ app for some reason. With streaming devices so cheap, it is not that big of an issue, but it does mean you take up an HDMI port for what should essentially be an unneeded device. I will give them kudos for at least adding three HDMI ports so you have an extra over most competitors.
As for the positives, this projector is BRIGHT, which is great for using with some light in the room. In fact, our living area is very bright but does not have light that shines directly on our screen and the picture is very watchable at all times of the day, which is great if you want to watch a sporting event with people over as no one wants to have friends over to sit in the dark. It also is very sharp and clean in the picture department once you set it up properly and set the focus to the point that it is very TV like. Sound is also great, as it is really a sound bar built in it a projector casing and it even supports additional wireless speakers for a surround setup without the need for a receiver. Add in the many ways to calibrate and fine tune the picture and you have a real winner., especially given the price.

Black screen

If your LG CineBeam Projector displays a black screen, there could be several reasons, such as power outages or cords not being correctly plugged in. You can try fixing the issue by resetting the projector to its factory settings, which can be accomplished by restarting it. The resolution is phenomenal and the lack of glare only emphasizes the fantastical magic our home theater exudes.
