[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for our new dedicated home theater, and I’m so glad we decided to go with the HU710PW. Mounting/setting it up is super easy with the lens shift. The extensive picture settings make dialing in a great picture pretty easy; I just looked at some projector review websites and started from their calibration settings then fine tuned it. It’s an amazing picture. We have an LG OLED TV, and while the picture isn’t the same quality, we didn’t expect it to be, and it’s still incredible and a very immersive experience. LG magic remotes are great (even though I use apps on the phone to control the receiver and NVIDIA shield I have attached so I don’t use it). All in all, from all the projectors I looked at through extensive research before making this purchase, I can’t imagine I would have gotten a better projector for the price I paid for this one. Highly recommend!

A good projector but with many shortcomings

I've had this projector for about 6 months now and while it produces a decent image, it is not without its problems:
1) Blacks levels are mediocre at best.
2) in a ceiling mount configuration, it produces considerable light leak from the lens that contaminates the ceiling with light streaks. I had to 3D print a shield to fit on the front of the lens to fix this.
3) The HDR algorithm is poor and produces very murky dark areas in the HDR image.
4) If you use the Iris to help reduce black levels, it biases the image toward blue. The more you close it, the worse it gets.
5) It almost feels like LG has already abandoned this product as there has not been a software update since release and it clearly needs one.

It was like brining the theatre home. It has a very nice design and it easy to use. We will enjoy this projector for years to come. We are even considering mounting it to use as our main "TV" in the family room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This protector was ready to go right out of the box. We had a movie night outside of our garage with an 17 foot inflamable projector screen. The picture was bright and clear even in reverse mode as the projector was in the garage and we were watching from the driveway. The setup controls were easy and pretty self explanatory. The magic remote had a good range and was able to control from the end of the driveway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love the cinebeam projector. We decided to put it in our family room so that everyone could enjoy it and it has not disappointed! It’s a very high performing projector. It has a night and day difference from optima hd26. The picture quality is superb. It has great detail and lasts longer than our previous projector. The colors are true and bright and vivid. It’s definitely better than most televisions. It’s a little on the pricey side but worth every penny. Only negative is it does not comes with the mounting bracket.
