[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased the Benchmark Induction cooktop NITP060UC. The installations was very easy. The cooktop works as good or better than advertised. The heat control is very precise. Cleaning is very easy with the flat top and no control knobs in the way. I would recommend this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is an absolute game changer. You can literally boil a stockpot of water in one minute. Bridging the elements on the left is perfect for griddles. High temps can give wok hei in stir frys. Then you just clean it all up with a damp cloth.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to clean and looks great in island. Still in learning curve. Takes longer to heat up than than my GE induction in Florida. Carbon steel griddle too long & I have to manipulate so it doesn't cover the on button which turns it off.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to purchase an induction cooktop because it is being installed on an island. I like the fact that it cools quickly after cooking and that it is a smooth surface that can be used as additional space when not in use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome cooktop. Great control of temperature. The large burner arrangment makes cooking a breeze. Cooktop stays cool. Wouldn't have anything else
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my electric stove with this induction cooktop. So far I am very pleased with the performance. It is easy to clean and as promised, heats up and cools down quickly, and looks great on my island. I purchased a silicon cover to keep from scratching the surface and contain spills. I am still learning what settings I need to choose for different foods.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this cooktop for a few days, but I am already impressed with the novel features. Flexinduction is a game-changer - no more worrying about what size pan goes where. The 11 inch pots go on the large back burner, small pots go on the small front burner, and everything else goes in the Flexinduction area - from my cast iron griddle to my saucier pots to every frying pan I am likely to use. So convenieht.
I have an induction hotplate that has temperature control which I find quite useful, especially when I need low, steady heat. I have no intention of getting special pans for temperature control - if I don't need them for my little hotplate, I shouuld not need them for a top-line induction cooktop.
Based on my hotplate experience, I purchased this cooktop assuming that AutoChef would give me good temperature control with my current pots and pans - and where it works, it works well. But I was disappointed to discover that AutoChef does not work on the small front burner and that Bosch does not offer a "target temperature" for each AutoChef level. For these failings, I losered my rating to 4-star.
I found the Power Move works well for my 3-Qt Saucier which I use as a small Wok. I stir-fried on high at the front of the Flex Burner, and when I need to slow the sear a bit, moved it to the middle - a fast, convenient way to lower the heat. Then back to the front when I want it really hot again, and all the way to the back just before dinner. I know I could do this by pushing buttons, but a simple move to change the temperature instantly is reallly convenient.
Bottom line, I like this cooktop a lot, and got improved cooking results immediately (and I have always been a very good cook). I highly recommend it.
