Great Cooktop! And a little "larger" than most!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been really impressed by this cooktop! We had purchased another 36 inch cooktop earlier, but it was too small for our cut-out. Based on my research, I was that Bosch's ran about an inch bigger than some, and it fit PERFECTLY in our previous cutout. Saved me so much time, effort and money being able to drop it right in!
In terms of performance, it's been everything we'd hoped for. We have three kids so Mac'n'cheese is a staple, and I remember having to set up the boiling pot 10-15 minutes prior to dropping in the pasta. That's now 3-5 minutes! And when I remove the pot, the cooktop is back to a relatively safe temperature in about 1 minute instead of 10-15- another huge win for parents of young kids!

Best Cooktop Ever

Only 1 Flaw

I bought this unit a few years ago and overall it works as it should. There was an error code that topped up in the first few months, but Bosch resolved the issue and I cant ask for anything more. This unit looks great and is amazing to clean (if you have ever had gas or electric you would understand). The only issue is how dark the induction or "burner" spots are. I find it difficult to determin if the pan/pot is actually in the right location. It is a petty flaw, but one that has frustrated me since day 1.
