Induction Cooktop

This is great! I have always been a "gas" cooking gal. When my husband and I redid some things in our kitchen, we decided to go with an induction cooktop. One big reason is that we couldn't find a gas cooktop that we liked! Then I thought of the residue that gas cooking left. I have been using the new cooktop for about a month now. It does have a learning curve but you can also "go simple" and just adjust the heat (like on high or low) like you would a gas burner. With the speed boost, I can boil water a lot quicker than on a gas cooktop. It is so easy to clean! I love everything about it!

Fantastic cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great cooktop. Infinitely adjustable, quick, accurate, and wifi enabled. Just get a silicone mat to cover it. It'll heat safely thru the mat, and keep the surface from scratching or getting dirty. The side burners can be treated as a single large burner for tepenyaki, allowing either the same or different temperature at each end. Hard to find any flaws in this unit.

Sleek and functional

I like the ability to 'join' on the sides for larger/longer shaped cooking surfaces and truly appreciate the auto-shut off safety feature.....looking forward to a long relationship! Enjoy the 'Boost' boil feature as well!

Love this cooktop!

So responsive to heat selection changes (had electric prior), boils quickly, safer for seniors as top does not get as hot and cools rapidly, and SO easy to clean. We have boiled, fried, sautéed, simmered. Touch controls were easy to learn and are so responsive to changes. Very pleased with our Bosch induction cooktop.

New to induction

The auto chef is truly amazing and gently cooks everything from fish to eggs without any issues. Have used several pots and pans including a wok and the cooktop handled each one easily. The glass top picks up smudges and splatter easily so I covered it with a silicon mat which has been a game changer. Easy clean up and protects the glass from scratches. Only wish the display was easier to see. Overall love the cooktop!

Mostly good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife does more cooking than me but I do use the cooktop. I've also heard her comments. We bought induction based on input from family members and reviews. Bosch is a respected brand. We had to replace a number of our pots and pans to be compatible. Not all induction compatible pans work equally well. I've focused on the All Clad brand. Even so, there are some hot and cool spots on the range when cooking directly over the induction zones. Otherwise, it works as expected.

What an upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a fan of gas ranges, but by necessity had to install a new electric one. I opted for this Bosch induction cooktop and it is wonderful! Its nearly instantaneous response time reminds me of gas, but without the indoor pollution. And the completely flat surface-- no knobs-- is a game changer for easy clean up!
