This thing heats up fast. It works great with induction cookware, but a little sensitive with stainless steel frying pans. There's a definite learning curve, but I love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced our old electric stove top. Looks smoother, cooks faster, more elagant controls. Choose to purchase new set of Stainless Steel cookware vs. aluminum whic added to cost. Looking to save electricty wih more efficiant cooking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice cooktop, installed during our kitchen remodel. This is our first induction cooktop and like the speed in which water boils and pans heat up. Cooking is faster and more consistent.
Beautiful unit, but failed. Smaller burners worked fine, but big burner failed with burning insulation smell when we tried to use it. No longer trust the rest of the cooktop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't say enough positive about this cooktop! Love the speed boost feature which will bring a pot of water to a boil in a few minutes. It's got great safety features so if you have kids this is a must. The induction top is also great for regulating temperature - closest thing I've found to gas so far. If you're looking for a stellar cooktop thst won't break the bank, this is for you!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second induction cooktop and Bosch hit it out of the park with this one. Its the small things that stand out with this one. I dont know how the warm setting works but its perfect and solves the problem most inductions have with keeping food on without it continuing to cook. The glass top is easy to clean, connect lets me see everything from my phone, and the timer is another great feature that I use all the time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like the cooktop and it has intellegence to know where the pan is when power is turned on. On a minor downside, the smallest burner has to be used for very small pots, apparently it doesn't have enough mass to complete the circuit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first time using an induction cooktop and we're very happy with it:
* the controls are very simple, nothing too fancy * the 5 spots heat pots and cups up very fast * it is fairly thin, so we were able to fit 3 drawers beneath it, in our cabinet design * it looks very clean and sleek
The only negative so far is that I'm not sure why it needs wifi connectivity. It has automatic shutoff, so there's not much of a need for us to use the app.
