Would NOT buy again

I would not have purchased this Bosch cooktop if I had had a chance to actually try it first. It is very difficult to consistently get the burners to light on the first try. The electronic spark will click and it seems lit and then it goes out. There is evidently a "sweet spot" where the burner stays lit but I have not mastered it after 2 months. I also HATE the way water spots on the stainless steel cooktop. I cannot get it to look clean without streaks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bosch gas cooktop

I love my new cooktop! The control of the burners is wonderful and has made cooking so much better. The flexibility of having 5 burners is great. I only wish the simmer burner was a back burner instead of a front burner. I assume this was to let you easily check sauces, etc. The controls in the middle is far better than controls on the side. We replaced a very old Magic Chef cooktop and it's been great and cooking is far more enjoyable. Since it's a Bosch, I know it will last many years. Our Bosch dishwasher is almost 17 years old and going strong with no problems. Because of the dishwasher's longevity, we only looked at Bosch cooktops for our new one.

Great replacement cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this cooktop as it fits 5 nice burners where I used to have 5. I really like the larger center burner and the small simmer one. Very high end look without spending 3x the money.

Great Looking Cooktop!

We wanted to make sure we found a quality brand that was in our price range. The bonus for us was its low profile. Our previous one seemed so bulky. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
