Bosch Gas Stove Top is wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was easy. Love the features and 5th burner. The on off dials light up when on and when turning off have a indication by staying or blinking until burners are cool. Very happy with the product.

Decent cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this cooktop about 6 weeks, and so far I like it. It's taking a bit of time to get used to the levels (how much heat at a particular number), and the super power burner, as well as the Opti Sim burner. No problems with them so far, just haven't totally got them down yet. I like the lights in the knobs that let you know when a burner is on, as well as when it's still hot. And it's nice to be able to take the burners apart for cleaning. The one thing I don't like is that it takes quite a bit of attention to keep it clean. The stainless steel gets marked up extremely easily with fingerprints, and wiping up even a tiny bit of food results in a streak that then needs to be washed and polished out. That's kind of inconvenient. But overall, it's a good cooktop.

Beautiful Gastop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a beautiful piece of work this cooktop is. It replaced a Bosch gastop of 20 years that no longer lit all the time. This one has the extra burner in the middle that goes from high to very low. The only reason I put one star lower is that I wish that one of the front burners was a high one. On the left is a simmer top and on the right, a midsize burner. That said, it is great. Just be sure to clean and care for it properly and it will stay that way.

Great propane cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used this for a few months. It is powerful and well designed acting bigger than the 30 inch size it is.Foods are cooking faster. Cleanup is easy. The stainless steel is still perfect. I really like using the numbers to set each burner. I would give it 5 stars but sometimes one of the burners I don't use much is reluctant to start.

Nice cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bosch 800 series gas cooktop is a very nice replacement for the original 4 burner cooktop. The original actually had higher BTU burners, except for this ones center burner. However; these seem to heat quicker and hotter. This cooktop looks great, but is a little bit of a pain to clean. With it's flat surface, you can wipe it easily, but it leave streaks unless you quickly wipe with a clean dry cloth. The burner parts move out of place easily when bumped while cleaning. None of this is a real issue, just a little bit of a nuisance. A bigger nuisance is the control knobs. The spacing (too close) makes it hard to clean between them, and the shinny surface is harder to clean than if they were textured. They look very nice when clean. It is easy to control the flame. The knobs have a steady on red light when the burner is on, and it stays lit (pulsing) until the burner cools down. The grates are heavy duty and you can slide your pot across to any burner easily. The grates have, I believe, silicone feet that protect the cooktop surface. All burners heat quickly and the flame control is good. The front left has a large heat deflector to make it heat slow and consistant for sauces. I would prefer this burner be a back burner, but I suppose it is a front burner so you can easily stir your sauce. It is a bit higher in price than many others, but the quality feels better. All-in-all this has been a great replacement.
