Great cooktop

Our new gas cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new cooktop which replaced our 20 plus year old gas cooktop. This new cooktop is cleaner, sleeker and gives us a tremendous amount more cooking area even with the same footprint based on the location of the controls in the front rather than on the side. We also really like the large center burner as it is extremely versitile and makes cooking faster and more efficient. The simmer burner is also fabulous once you get a sauce up to temperature on another burner but then need to maintain the heat without burning it. The cooktop is reasonably priced considering the features and high quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Much needed upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this cooktop to replace a downdraft cooktop that the builder installed. After 15 years of frustration it was time for an upgrade. We certainly accomplished that.
The burner arrangement took a little getting used to but after a few weeks of use it's not an issue. Having the power burner in the middle for the wok and heavy sautéing is great. It allows a quick start to boiling water etc then shift to the upper right for final boiling or lower left for simmering. The lower left simmer burner works outstanding with our Crueset cast iron Dutch ovens. They always boiled instead of simmered on the old cooktop. Well done Bosch!
Last week I had three different recipes cooking on the cooktop. Using the simmer, power center and cooking burner all going at the same time. No issues with pots fitting on the cooktop on the burners.
I love the control knobs lights that indicate the burner is on and then the flashing to indicate the cooktop is hot.
Cleaning is easy. Wipe with a soapy cloth after removing the grates. Then wipe with a dry cloth. Done. No need for fancy stainless cleaners etc.

A BIT OF A SETBACK!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our plumber went to install, there was an incorrect metal disc for the lower left burner in our package. We have had an extremely hard time geting this exchanged for the correct one and hope that it is on its way. We want to use the complete stovetop as soon as possible!

FANTASTIC

Our installer told us that he could tell, while installing it, that it is a high quality and well built cooktop. And it has features that other cooktops simply do not have. It was a bit pricier than another brand we were looking at but, this is clearly a case of you get what you pay for.
