Nice but needs to rearrange burners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've wanted a Bosch induction stovetop for some time now and got one when I needed a new stovetop on my new house. The stove works very well and I have no complaints about its function. However, I wish I had looked more closely at the location of the four burners. Bosch has placed the two larger burners in the back and these two burners are so close to each other that when I have two large pots at the same time (such as making pasta for the family) with my downdraft vent working, the stove gets to be very crowded and difficult to use. A better design would have staggered the large and small burners rather than placing both larger burners at the back.

Love Bosch products....But

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Bosch products. My kitchen is all Bosch and has been for many years. This is our 2nd induction cooktop and the changes they made in design are not user friendly, at least if you are cooking on it. I do not like that both smaller cooking areas are both in the front. The middle size one is the one most often used and should be in the front like the older model. I also do not like to have to scroll through the temperatures to get to where I want. It was much easier to simply select 5, or off, for that matter. When you have two or more areas going, it's ridiculous that I have to hold the digital sensor down until it get to zero to turn off one element. It was much easier on the older model to select the area and touch off! No brainer. It is also very "touchy". If I lean over slightly to stir a pot in the back, and my sweater touches the cooktop the whole thing beeps and turns off. So annoying, as is the sound of the beeps....very grating. That said, I still like Bosch products, but the changes in this design were a step backward for someone who cooks a lot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dream experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The very first time I turned it on, I fell in love with the simplicity of use, the EVEN cooking across the entire pan bottom, the speed of cooking without burning or overlooking. My bacon actually stayed flat & all cooked at the same time without having to constantly move the bacon so it wouldn't burn or so it would cook faster. My morning coarse ground oatmeal cooks perfectly in record time. Eggs are another food I love cooking that can be a problem getting just right on some cook surfaces. Simple things but it demonstrates the ease, accuracy & efficiency of this cooktop. I have brought several neighbors in so I can show it off. I actually enjoy cooking virtually everything. Experimenting with recipes is so much more pleasant when you understand the complete control you have with this Bosch Cooktop. I chose Cuisinart cookware which is the perfect pairing. I'm thrilled.

Fantastic stovetop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Bosch Induction stove top. Our first sold with our previous home when we moved. We purchased another brand induction stove top because it was Immediately available for our new home. We had it for about three years before we became so dissatisfied, we just removed it and purchased a new Bosch. The quality and the caliber of the Bosch product is far superior and meets all our expectations. We have also purchased a Bosch oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. No other brand matches the beauty and superior features. When we had the other brand, I was at a appliance store where a couple were shopping for a new stove top.They were not familiar with Bosch or induction cooking. I stepped in and told them how I felt about our previous Bosch Cook Top. They ended ordering one and I told both them and the salesperson if they weren't thrilled with it they could contact me and I would buy it. It wasn't long after that we ordered the one we just purchased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it, but the layout could be improved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was our first time using induction and we're loving it. Two things that could be improved - the panel buttons could be bigger... there's so much room so it feels weird that they're so tiny. And the layout... The top two burners are really close to each other so if you're using the big one then the pot on the left cant quite sit on top of the burner. I wish there was more space between the burners

Shiny and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this installed in my new home. Learned to cook on induction when I lived in zgermsny and won’t cook on anything else, especially only on German products. They are long lasting, stay looking good and this is the best cooktop I’ve had yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It quickly delivers heat and is easy to clean. I am not thrilled with the electronic touch controls. They are VERY sensitive and may be impacted when inadvertantly bumped. They are also messy when attempted to make changes while cooking.
