The Weber Crafted system is an excellent alternative to buying a griddle or pizza oven. However make sure you understand the commitment/investment because the Weber website is not clear. You need to buy the Weber Crafted frame which will hold your griddle, pizza stone, etc.) plus you need to replace the grill grates because you will now need a ⅓ plus ⅔ grill split.

I’ve had 2 Performer Grills, the first for 10 years and still have the 15 yr old second grill. I bought the 325 smart grill so I could have both gas and charcoal. I BBQ year round. Weber grills are quality products, well engineered and I really like the baking capabilities of the 325. It’s great to be able to start grilling without a 40 minute charcoal wait.
