Nice oven, install had a couple issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No problems with the ovens that replaced a similar 20-year old Frigidaire unit; however, a couple of self-install issues: despite measuring multiple times, the height of the new oven didn't fit into the original space by about 1/4-inch (and resolved by cutting a section of the top shelf to fit where the new oven control section rises up to the top front control panel); and difficult to have the space available to connect the oven wires to the junction box (as the new oven wires are connected at the bottom of the unit and the old oven wires were at the top, with my junction closer to the top that left little room for making the connection).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this in relation to a kitchen remodel. I have had very good experience in the past with Frigidaire products (we have a fridge in our outside garage that's lasted 15 years.. in Houston temperatures..), so we gave it a 'go' with adding more Frigidaire appliances. Glad we did: we bought an Oven & a separate microwave at the same time. Installation was a breeze. What I am really impressed with is the after market service...there were a few issues with our Oven that we did not see until the plastic covering was pulled off. I called Electrolux/Frigidaire service & we were able to restore my appliance to perfect status. I recommend Frigidaire. BTW, the oven is so easy to use, and intuitive...I am one of those people who ignore "how to use" manuals... The only item that I will note is that you should never put any type of aluminum foil on the bottom of this oven (PERIOD) to catch food drippings. This is a no-no.
