Wall Oven Review
on February 6, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this wall oven for two weeks and so far it has operated wonderfully. Both the baking and convection work as advertised. The only small thing is that it does take a bit longer to preheat than my last wall oven. Otherwise, it's a good value for the money

I am not happy with the fact that I cannot put aluminum foil on the bottom of the oven and
that there is no heat element on the bottom of the oven, only the top. I'm a baker, and not
being able to foil the bottom of the oven to catch drips from pies or melted butter from the
crust of a cheesecake means I must clean my oven after every use. I'm not a fan of convection ovens because for fruit pies I like the bottom crust to cook faster so it isn't soggy, and to do that, I need to have a temp of 425 for the first 15 minutes before turning
the oven to 350 for the rest of the baking time. A bottom heating element is essential for
that to happen. I also don't like the fact that the oven turns off when the timer goes off.
Sometimes baked goods need extra time, so then I have to reset the computer . This
ovens are more of a hassle than my previous Frigidaire ovens.

Hi, Smwr!

These ovens do have a bake element at the bottom; it is underneath the oven floor. Putting aluminum foil over the floor will result in uneven temperature distribution, and the foil may melt permanently into the metal. Placing a lined baking tray underneath your bakes can help catch any drips!
Convection baking heats up faster and hotter than traditional cooking, utilizing the baking element at the bottom and the convection element at the back along with the fan to quickly adjust to temperature changes and maintain consistent heat. You should be able to adjust the temperature mid-bake as you prefer! However, we do advise that if you are using recipes designed for standard bake that the temperature is reduced by 25 degrees, either manually or using the Convection Convert option. Alternatively, you can still use standard bake on this model.
Cook Time can be set as an additional option to your bake setting and it will turn the heat off when the timer ends, but this is not required. If you want the heat to continue until you cancel it, you can use the Timer function detailed on page 17 of your Owner's Manual.
I hope this information was helpful. Thank you for sharing your feedback!

Best,
Ashton

Love my unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The item is so sleek, and fits so nicely in the cupboard (replacing a very, very old one). I smile each time I walk into the kitchen and see it. The microwave has all the features/modes, I've tried most of them, and all is well. The oven is large, cooks evenly and at a true temperature. We haven't had roasted foods in so long, my family is going crazy with recipe ideas. So happy I found this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved how the oven fit perfectly in space. My wife loves the easy to use features including the auto shut off at end of timed bake.

Not so good a replacement for old oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It cooks much slower…pie crust is soggy…cannot get the temp right or cook time right…hate that it turns off after cook time, it makes the preheat come back on to finish cooking when restarted and makes the top of the item tooooo brown…cannot make delay start more than an hour away…overall NOT happy with this expensive replacement oven…where did the real ovens go?

We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us. We are sad to learn you feel this way about your new wall oven, and we want to turn things around. Note that your appliance has been factory calibrated and tested to ensure an accurate baking temperature. Follow your recipe times and temperature recommendations carefully for the first few uses. If you think the oven is cooking too hot or too cool for your recipe times, you can adjust the control so the oven cooks hotter or cooler than the temperature displayed. Instructions to do this are listed on page 14 of your User and Care Guide. Also, with most of your oven modes, such as Bake, Convection Bake, Air Fry, etc., the Cook Time is an option rather than required. If you don't want the oven to shut off automatically, do not set a Cook Time. If a timer function is needed, press the Timer button, enter the desired time and press START. The timer will count down the amount of time you specify, and a tone will sound when the timer reaches zero. If that doesn't help, please contact us directly for support. We would be more than glad to assist you with these concerns. ~Keyanna

Very Nice Oven
on January 30, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, its a very nice oven, looks beautiful, nice screen, beautiful inside and out. I did have an issue with the length of the supplied cord. It is just barely long enough to hook up the connections with the oven on the floor against the cabinet. In fact, putting it into the cabinet pulled the wires partially out of the wall. It will be the same issue if I ever have to pull it out again. The other issue is that the temperature was way low. I had to set the offset as high as it would go +40 to come close. At 350, the oven is still only 348, but close enough. I did bake a couple of pies prior to checking the temperature and they took forever to cook, but of course they were only cooking at 310 instead of 350. Once I got that adjusted, it works fine though. Overall it's a very nice oven. Hopefully it will last a long time.
