Super oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only have had the oven for a little while but so far it works great. This is only one of a handful of ovens that are made nowadays at 27". If performance keeps up over time and other functions work well, I'd give 5 stars. The air fry function is very handy, as others have said.

Disappointed

I have used another convention oven for many years. This new Frigidaire is disappointing in that it has no lower element, only an upper element. Manual directs to place racks at positions 1 and 4 for convection baking. After preheating, my experience is that the internal oven temperature can drop from 10 to 30 degrees when the door is opened to insert baking sheets. That initiates the upper element to return to set baking temperature and results in over heating to almost a broil to the tray at position 4. Fan appears to be working correctly. In my prior oven (same size) which had upper and lower elements, 3 baking sheets could be used in convection baking.

Thank you for your feedback. This model does have a lower bake element, it's just not visible as it is placed below the oven floor. The upper element is the broil element and will only be active during Preheat, Broil, or Air Fry. When using Convection or Air Fry settings, the heating element on the rear wall around the fan will also be activated. Convection is best recommended for multi-rack baking, and while we expect the temperature to drop when the door is opened, the active heating elements should continue to heat back to the set temperature without reactivating Preheat. If you are getting overcooked food, please remember that standard recipes should be converted for use with Convection by reducing the temperature by 25 degrees or using the Convert option on the oven.

Incredibly useful in so many ways

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded from an early 2000s regular oven, so this oven feels like a futuristic space ship with all the features. By far we have used the air fryer feature the most. We are excited to use the built in meat thermometer soon. Eliminates the need for multiple tools and appliances. Love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased oven because it had air fry option. We cannot use the air fry as we cannot find an air fry basket that fits the oven.

Does not Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my previous 27" Oven. Unfortunately, it does not fit exactly. It protrudes. In the current climate, I have not been able to find a technician who wants to do a simple adjustment. Workers only want to do big jobs.

Very pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been very pleased so fair with our new oven. The rollout rack made me more secure in removing my very heavy Dutch oven with rustic bread. We especially like the air fryer mode (we have never had an air fryer before) which has opened new cooking avenues. I wasn't impressed with drying basil from the garden using the dehydrate mode, however, I think that I would have been very happy if the oven had arrived in time to dehydrate some of our apricot crop.
The controls are easier to use that my previous Whirlpool Gold oven.
The oven fit perfectly into the existing space in the cabinet.
We were also happy with the installers.
