Great Trimmer!

Just received this product and I have to say I am really impressed with the close shave it provides and finally a trimmer with 6 different attachments with the shortest attachment provides the closest trim on my beard without shaving it off!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fine, but low durability

The trimmer works great, but the attachments broke within a couple months of use, and there is no way to get replacements from Braun directly, and the aftermarket hasn't worked out either. For the money, you'd hope for more durability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an easy-to-use and versatile trimmer and groomer. Works well wet or dry and has several blade guards to give you a variety of options for whatever look or level of trimming you're looking for. The blades are sharp and are supposed to last 6 months with normal use, but I'll have to wait a while to see how long it is sharp enough to use effectively. It is really effective when trimming my beard, it gives you good control to follow the lines you need to keep a symmetrical look on your face.

Close shave & very powerful

I love that it comes with so many different bits to add so I can shave at different lengths. Makes it easy to trim on the go and manage my crazy growth. It doesn't come with a carrying case for all of the bits, but nothing a small ziplock bag can't handle. I'm truly happy with the quality of the blade and shaver.

I had no pulls or cuts using it and the device was fairly easy to clean. It keeps a reasonable charge. A great value for anyone needing a shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Braun Series XT5 that can be used as a trimmer, body groomer, and electric razor. You can use it in the shower as it is waterproof. It is a perfect size to take when traveling and the metal blade can last up to six months.

Shockingly Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be quite honest, I haven't used a wet/dry/electric razor consistently since middle school (about 20 years ago). Typically I just use a trimmer, as I get a lot of ingrown hairs.
I tried this out and its fantastic! I've used it every other day for over a week and haven't had any issues whatsoever.
One of my biggest beefs with shaving is that it can be difficult to shave if your beard has gotten a bit longer. The Braun XT5100 can handle that, as it has the trimmers above and below the shaving surface. I've been thoroughly impressed.
The one con I've found is that it can struggle to be effective if you don't shave against the grain. Might be a deal breaker for some, but again - in my experience, this trimmer/razor combo is quite gentle while retaining the ability to get a close shave.
Highly recommend!
