Different than the original

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was pretty fun to play! It was different than original uno so it was a little hard to get use to and to understand. We like that you get your own super hero card set to plah with. My kids loved the extta foil cards also. I wish you could play with more than 4 people though. I like the box it came in also, easy to open and close.

Fun version of uno

We found it a little confusing with all the different steps to playing and had a hard time keep track of who was doing what but will enjoy learning and continuing to play.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our new favorite game

Unique Game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very unique take on the original UNO card game. My son is a huge Marvel fan and this game was a big hit for him. I loved that it was an easy game for us to all play together even my younger child was able to enjoy it with us.

Good for older kids!

A New Spin On A Classic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] UNO Ultimate Marvel gives new life to an old classic. Marvel lovers will enjoy the ability to play as their favorite super heroes and have unique rules granted to them based on the hero they choose. While the core concept of the game remains the same, to be the first one out of cards, each player has their own deck which is designed after one of the Marvel super heroes in addition to a danger deck that has both events and enemies of the super heroes. These additions are what makes the game interesting, as each super hero has their own special ability, in addition to the enemies and events which make the game more strategic than the original UNO.
While the base game comes with a static four hero decks: Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Thor (along with a booster pack of 4 uncommon to super rare foil cards) other super heroes, such as Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch, are available via add-on packs - which also contain foil cards. This means you may need to pick up an add-on pack so that your little one can play as their favorite hero if they are not included in the base game.
This game is rated 7+ as players will need to read and understand the directions provided on these new types of cards. I would highly suggest that adults play a round or two of this game first after fully reading the instructions in order to get a good feel for it's gameplay prior to getting little ones involved. Trying to understand how to play the game while also explaining it to a younger child at the same time will make it significantly more difficult to learn/play, especially if they are not familiar with traditional UNO.

Fun version of UNO with a twist

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun different version of UNO. The rules do take a bit to get through, but once you start playing, it is easy to follow. The danger deck was a little confusing to know if it applied only to the person who drew the card or to everyone, but we just decided for ourselves and that worked. My 7 year old really enjoyed that it involved superheroes. He was able to pick up on the rules with a little bit of help, but I would say the age recommendation is spot on and this game would be too challenging for anyone younger than 7. The game can be really short or take a little longer, but takes a reasonable amount of time to play. It definitely is a hit at our house!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Marvel game lovers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves games and loves marvel. So he was beyond excited. Plus it has foil cards. Its neating kept and you can store bavk in the box. He played for hours. Recommend for ages that can understand how play uno.
