Nice theme but for older kids

The game was a bit advanced for a 5 year old to understand all the rules and the additional card set. He enjoyed seeing the Marvel characters on the cards and choosing one. We played the classic uno afterwards to make the experience more enjoyable.

Amazingly entertaining

Great mix of Marvel & Uno

Recently purchased this game and it is a family favorite! Perfect for the Marvel fan and the artwork on the cards is great. Uno at its core and the new actions really add new fun! Easy to set-up and the new cards add just enough strategy without making it too complicated. Looking forward to adding new characters. Great mix of strategy and chance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Confusing but fun game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 8yo since he loves Marvel, & likes Uno, & I thought it would be a fun game to play together, which after a while it was, but it was so confusing in the beginning! The directions are NOT user-friendly & I had to go online to find a video on how to play this game. Once I watched that I understood more, but it was very confusing when I 1st tried reading the directions, FYI
I would recommend this to a friend!

Little confusing to play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well after receiving this game my kiddos were so excited to play it because its superheros combined with UNO. I mean who wouldn't be excited! But this is no basic old school UNO game. After reading the instructions we set up and attempted to play but not even 2 turns into the game i was so confused. Each player is a hero and then you have super powers but i couldn't figure out how its supposed to play. Then each player had their own pile to draw from and discard to and basically at one point i definetly was feeling like we were even playing UNO. My kids who played were 6 and 7 and tho they love the characters and know some stuff about each one they were just as confused on how to play this Ultimate UNO with its special cards and powers. Overall we were not fans of this game and how its played but we did like the theme of the heros.

Too many rules

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This marvel version of uno had a lot of new rules. This was very confusing for my 7 and 11 year olds to play. He liked the graphics in the card and the foil cards ( which are embellished versions of the character cards). We tried to follow the rules but ended up playing the classic uno rules with the marvel superhero cards. This game would have been better if it followed classic into rules and was just superhero graphics on the cards.

Complicated rules and set up

We did manage to play 1 round of it, but by the time we read the instructions and got it all set up it seemed very complicated. My son is 6 and this game is probably better for kids who are at least 10. It might have gotten less confusing if we played more but it didnt seem worth all the effort. Definitely my least favorite version of Uno.

Cool concept

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were super excited to get this in the mail! I think it’s a really cool concept of the game but there are way too many layers to it. One persons turn can last forever it seems as there are so many steps to remember. This game is rated for ages 8 and up and we felt like it was way too hard for that age range. Adults yes, it would be a fun game but I would have to watch a couple of the you tube instructional videos before getting it down.
