The greatest space ship ever made

This is honestly the greatest looking ship Lego has ever produced. I was blown away at how beautifully detailed, and well built it is.
My only complaint is there is a bit too many stickers, would of liked some of it to be printed. But adding a stand with a plaque is "chefs-kiss" for a set like this.
I hope Lego releases more 8+, 14+ and even 18+ sets around Pixar/Disney property. If they are all like this, it will become hobbyists and kids favorite new line up.

Awe Inspiring

First off, the colors to this set are so vibrant and instantly make me think of Benny yelling "SPACESHIP!" It's build is relatively straightforward and nothing too out of the ordinary. But, man, the shaping and design of the ship is amazing. I never take photos of sets but I instantly started posing this ship around. It's one of the best sets I've ever built and I'm proud to own this. To infinity and beyond, space rangers.

One of the absolute coolest space ships ever from Lego, best cockpit detail I've ever seen for such a small ship, the shapes and fit are so so good, the whole ship is brightly colored and even the instructions really make this set feel like a toy with cool effects in them. When building the ship you get lots of colored pieces on the insides that make building the ship even more interesting than it already is with the super cool shapes. Comes with super great and amazingly detailed figures that all have extra pieces to customize them a little, and to top it all off it comes with a perfect little stand for it that makes it look super cool even when just sitting on a shelf until it's played with again. The entire build was very fun, a super great value for Lego, the whole experience with every aspect of this set was wonderful. Worth a perfect 1000/10 rating.

One of the best LEGO sets ever!!

I love this set!! There are so many cool little details and interesting building techniques. There was an appropriate amount of stickers and even a display stand with a UCS-style plaque. I also really appreciate the fact that the director of the Lightyear movie made the movie with transparent yellow canopies in mind so that he could get them as lego pieces!! Although a few things of note, both concerning stickers: when I first opened the box, my sticker sheet was attached to the instruction booklet with an extra sticker 8?? Also in the instruction booklet, it tells you to place sticker 6 on a 4x4 modified plate for the right-wing, but when you get to the left-wing, it tells you to also place sticker 6 when it should be sticker 13 on the sheet. Although this is an easy fix and not too much of a problem, other than that, amazing set 10/10

Great set, reminds me of older space sets

When I first saw this set, it has a similar look to the Battlestar Galactica Vipers; which made it appealing. It also reminded me of many of the space sets I had in the late 80s.
The set is very playable. It is minifig scale and includes several characters that I recognize from the Lightyear trailer (movie not out when I bought this).
The inclusion of the stand was definitely a nice touch, one I'm only used to seeing in the 18+ sets. It makes it much easier to display.
The set itself is a relatively easy build, which is good since it is geared towards 8 and up. I think for the target age, it is should be a fun build.
Overall, a fun build and a great looking ship.

My son has loved legos for many years now, he has loved buzz light year since he could ever watch tv. So we knew this set was going to be the toy he wanted most. He counted down the days until this came in our mail and we spent a good 2 hours afterwards building it together. It was quite a lot of work, but so worth it! It comes with a stand to display it if you aren’t wanting to play with it, my son uses it as his way to store it once done playing with it. It comes with a few character such as buzz, a cat, and 2 more. This has kept my 8 year old son busy for hours! Typical great Lego quality, and Hours of fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Lego set for my oldest nephew. It was fun putting it together. I like how the instructions was very detail. The only thing is I think there is way to many stickers for this set. I loved how each section came in its own bag wasn't all thrown together. I highly recommend this set. Tons of fun
