Beautiful set!

Looks amazing fully built with some great techniques and piece usage. The top floor especially looks great with the smooth transition of the sand green pieces.

First modular build. I think I'm hooked

So, I've really liked 1 off builds... Treehouse, barracuda bay, saturn v, lunar lander, etc. This is my first modular building and it was a fun build. I recently got back into lego and it's been an addicting ride. Build shelves just to display the addictive binge builds and the modulars have peaked my interest. I'm contemplating getting another and have my eyes set on the police station and stack that next to this one. Space is at a premium by me, so I can't go all out and get one a week, but it's tempting. I have a place for these modulars all picked out, but I'm saving room for other sets coming out this year.
This set was filled with nods to the previous modulars according to the instructions. Shame only 4 are currently in stores. Anyways, statistically, a new one should be coming out next year.
The building techniques were clever. The crowbar, whip, handcuffs, snakes and skeleton leg in particular. I bought a corner modular in the event I didn't like modulars, I can just set this in the corner on my shelf and display it with 2 adjacent faces showing, however, I think I'll be getting another in the near future. Recommended if this is your first modular.

A great piece for display or play

This is the second modular set I've built, and like the Bookshop, the hardest part is getting through the first couple bags. Just so many tiles and plates to set the ground floor. But once through that, it's a fun build. The notes in the instruction manual about how certain pieces and minifigs are callbacks to other Modular sets is a nice touch,especially since I missed out on those older sets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Missing Piece

Was missing a piece from Bag 3, so right now I only have floors 2 & 3 built. They're looking sick though! Just got into Lego and looking forward to buying more!

Love this set. So much detail. The deco design and mini figures give off a Poirot vibe. My favorite build so far.
