Works great but paint chips easily

I really wanted to like this kettle! It works great and feels high quality. Unfortuntately though, after only 2-3 days of use, the paint on the bottom of the kettle started to chip off in large flakes. Overall bummed with how quickly this product degraded for the price.

My spouse was asking for a petit kettle for tea, and we became so happy with our purchase! We love being able to see when the water is hot enough for the different teas. It is the exact size we needed, as we could only find quite large kettles at stores near us.

Game changer for this tea freak

I thought I had it made with my Japanese teapot but then I got the RAVEN and my tea-life changed. I am a daily tea drinker, and with the addition of a built-in thermometer topper, I was able to brew perfect cups of black, oolong, herbal, white, and green teas, which all require slightly different temperatures and steep times. Try doing that with a kettle and tea pot and no thermometer. Raven's design is simple, attractive, and highly functional. I could not be happier with this purchase.

Great Kettle!

Pretty awesome little kettle. Love how aesthetically pleasing it is. Great design, comfortable handle, temperature gauge is awesome, and easy to brew loose leaf with the attached insert. You get very minimal tea debris in your cup. I appreciate the silicone lid that seals up nicely but is easily removed for loose leaf insert. The way the handle was designed is my favorite feature protecting your hand from any hot water mishaps. We use this to make our favorite green tea a few times a week.

Raven is Tops!

Loving my Raven Stovetop Kettle (sorry, not using it for tea, however and no matter) Makes me happy every morning to fill it up with water for my Chemex coffee maker. And the thermometer - can't believe how much I love being aware of making sure the temp is just right for my brew! Raven is so handsome as well and handle is at just the right angle to pour without steam issues to my hand. I couldn't recommend this any higher. If it was updated it would be nice to have little tick marks for # of cups so no guessing would be necessary (or use of a measuring cup).

Good enough but already broken

The teapot gets the job done. The insert doesn’t fit correctly and needs to be forced in so the lid can fit correctly but it’s so difficult to take out afterwards. It easily burns and is hard to clean. The entire bottom paint has burned off in the first two times of using it. Overall it works it’s just not worth the price since it’s falling apart so easily.

HANDLE MELTED OFF

this is my second Fellow product as the first kettle i had the matte black coating melted onto my stove- i got a new type but still matte and i kid you not- heating water for tea and it starts to smell i look over THE HANDLE MELTED like is dripping down onto my stove. The quality of these products blows my mind- insane how terrible they are. i'm beyond frustrated at this point.

I do love it, but for all the obvious attention to detail, I was surprised it didn’t include a little trivet/saucer or something for the tea basket once steeping has completed.
