Huge upgrade

I owned the original Carter mug and it was my favourite cup to drink from. But I didn’t use it much because it didn’t fit in my cup holder when driving and it required 2 hands to open it if I did manage to bring it with me. This new version addresses both of those problems. The only gripe I have is that my ceramic v60 is just slightly too big to fit in the opening.

I LOVE my new mugs. My wife and I each use one everyday and bought one for my BIL who also uses his daily. Easy to clean - retains temperatures - no spills. Can’t recommend enough!

As a nightshift human that always has a coffee traveler- always. And many travelers that always had something almost it. This is exactly it: hot coffee, no more sip lids, no awkward handle blocking a cupholder, no stainless steel dish soap taste, seals up and goes right in my tool bag. When you're particular about your coffee cup, this is it!

I ordered the red mug and it’s beautiful and functional. It keeps my hot coffee steaming hot for hours! Keeps my iced matcha cold forever too. I’m obsessed with travel mugs and this one is my favorite. Only negative is it can’t go in the dishwasher.

1) There is a residual smell after tea
2) I decided that I don’t like the separate lid design because it is cumbersome when used as a commuter mug
