This travel mug is amazing!

This travel mug is amazing! The ceramic inside truly gives you that true taste unlike many other travel mugs (I won't name them but you can fill in the blank here). I've had many of the other brand mugs and hate having the taste of metal! Also, the Carter has the travel cap (sold separately) so you can take off the 360 cap and have a spill proof solution. The outside is very durable and I love to travel with this from quick at home trips to out of the country. My wife and I both have replaced our travel mugs with Fellow. If you love the taste of good coffee (like we do) and want to be able to taste the little notes of different roasts such as our coffee from Guatemala, you need to get a fellow mug!

The build is solid and the magnetic lid is smart design for easy cleaning. However, I think the 'Slide lid' is better than this '360 lid'. The liquid flow of this design made it inconsistent. It depends one what angle you are drinking at, the volume of its liquid exit is different and it makes it inconvenient to constantly paying attention.

The quality and construction is great. The only issue is that the cap pours wide and it makes it kind of awkward to drink. You have to be careful. I might look into the other caps.

The mug itself is awesome! I got the 16oz. I was worried it would feel too big but it doesn't at all. Love the lid design with the 360 degree sipping and the magnetic piece that is easily removed for cleaning. My only issue was with the order processing - my first order never shipped. I reached out after about 10 days because the tracking had not updated and they said the order had been lost/misplaced. They placed a reorder for me but then some of the items I ordered were out of stock. Eventually the mug arrived a month later and the other parts 5 and 7 weeks later. Worth the wait but a little frustrating. Customer service was great.

Just nice to have something that is ceramic lined so my expensive varietals hold their flavors on the go. All my metal lined vacuum thermoses seem to leave a residual flavor.

It's like drinking out a a "Joke Dribble Glass", which is not good when it's hot coffee.
Basically, the design of many holes is the issue.
1 hole would be better like any other mug.

Also, I am unable to get all the coffee without tilting my head way back. Which again, also acts as a dribble glass.
Not a good design. How do these things get past testing and quality control?

Things I especially like:
* ceramic/porcelain-lined: no effect on taste, which is why I avoid most stainless mugs.
* 360 sip lid, easy to drink from, and doesn't block aromatics, the magnetic splash guard is nice and easy to remove for cleaning.
* Stays hot, even with the unsealed sip lid.

Stuff I don't like as much:
* Bottom is bare (painted) metal, it slips/scratches/is-scratched-by surfaces pretty easily. Some sort of thin rubbery texture would have been appreciated.
* Some kind of handle for a more convenient grip is missing, when I'm moving about, the mug occupies my whole hand, and makes it hard to carry other things.

This is the perfect size (8oz) for Aeropress, but it doesn't fit the aeropress :(
I fabricated an adapter funnel to make an aeropress work on top of the move, and now it's about perfect.
I like that it keeps my drink hot for long enough for me to finish the 8oz cup, which can be several hours. The 360 sip lid is also pretty convenient for drinking, but it's not sealed, so you have to be careful about spilling if not stowing the mug correctly.

I know this is for coffee, but I live in a hot dry place so I drink a lot of water with these mugs. The 360 lid is perfect for keeping cold water generally cool and making it easy to sip one-handed from a car cup holder without having to fuss with lids and such.
