I truly enjoy drinking both hot and iced coffee and tea out of the Carter Move Mug. I bought it for its leakproof seal, ceramic interior and ice catching insert.....but..
then I realized that there was a rubber gasket that while removable, was difficult to clean and dry.
It holds the scent of the last beverage despite thorough cleaning.
I now have lost it (while trying to clean it) and I'm ordering several replacements (one for tea, one for coffee).
Other than the gasket issue, I am really enjoying my mug and want to get another one.
Finally, the perfect travel tea mug! Fits in the hand & car perfectly. Temperature regulation is divine!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been loving this travel mug so far, but it is not dishwasher safe. The description online states that the mug is dishwasher safe, but upon arrival, it comes with a notice that the exterior coating may be 'discolored' in the dishwasher, which is deceiving.

Difficult

The lid is VERY difficult to remove. In fact, mine is unusable as the lid is stuck. I’ve followed Fellow recommendations which did nothing. .

I got a lemon

The Fellow Carter Move Mug, or How I Learned to Stop Feeling Sad and Love My Coffee At Work

So here it is: a travel mug that doesn’t taste like the inside of an old trombone. The Fellow Carter Move Mug is a miracle of design—no black plastic anywhere. You know what black plastic tastes like? Regret and broken New Year’s resolutions. This mug? My coffee tastes like my coffee. Actual coffee. The kind you imagined you’d be sipping while writing your novel in a cabin somewhere, before your life became emails and microwave dinners.
The interior is ceramic, which means the flavor doesn’t get bullied by metallic tang or plastic aftertaste. It’s smooth. It’s honest. It lets the coffee speak for itself, like a kind uncle at a family reunion who just wants to tell one good story before he dies.
Oh, and the splash guard—ingenious. No, it whispers, this coffee is not for your pants today.
I drink from it and feel slightly less doomed. It’s amazing.

Mug is great! Communications, not so much

The mug itself is great. I've bought a few, replacing one whenever it gets lost or too damaged in normal use to function. They keep things hot or cold, as needed, for a long time. I like the splash guard too. Five stars for the mug.
I also wanted to say that Fellow's email policy is ABSURD. I've received 25 marketing emails from them in the 13 days since I bought a mug directly from the site, despite NOT clicking the "I want to receive email communications" box at checkout. Two per day. That's insane. One star for bombarding me with emails. I'll buy from other sales channels in the future.
