A poor man's T14? L14 gets stuff done!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, I am a huge ThinkPad fan. The love started with my first ThinkPad, the legendary 600 series. I have been owners of the 600, X series, R and T series. T series (X is essentially a baby T series) is the best ThinkPad you can get or laptop in general. However, this time around I am on a tight budget, so I ended with the L Gen 2. I have 0 regret, absolutely love this machine. Here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
-Share the same hinge as T series
-2 DIMM Slots for RAM upgrade, are you kidding me??? this is even better than the T14 series. I rather have a slightly thicker laptop than everything being soldered.
-Decent keyboard, much better than the Dell laptop I got for work.
- Good portability for me anyway
- Still has the rubber feeling on the casing
- satisfactory battery life
- very very good fan noise, this is to be expected from a ThinkPad
- enough ports to avoid an USB docking station.

Cons
- It's not as easy as before to access the motherboard for upgrade
- The keyboard is shallower than the T series keyboard. For sure it's not as good as the classic IBM keyboard, but beat other brands easily
- screen is just ok and bad compared to my MacBook Air, screen is usually ThinkPad's weakest link.

Conclusion: The L14 G2 is not those sexy super thin laptop, but it gets the work done anywhere, anytime and almost any environment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The screen turns black quite often and it becomes hard turn off. You have to press power off key for over 30 seconds. Than you turn on and it starts working again
