Swann deleting bad reveiws

I remember writing a review about this product its good to see swann has finally updated their website to actually show the product they are selling and not the US version. Its funny they also removed the snarky reply they left to my comment though. The camera and build quality are very low I guess if you get it on special then it might be worth it.

Hi Nigel. Swann are not able to delete/block reviews unless there is some other reason such as obscene or abusive language being used.

In this case we read your last review and agreed with your comments that we should have provided more detail on our web page to differentiate our USA model from the Australian model. Whilst overall similar, there are some differences such as the Australian stock having a removable plug which we agreed with you we could explain more clearly. As a result we redesigned the web pages and created a dedicated one for each country. In the process of deleting the original page and splitting it into new ones for each region, the original reviews (good and bad) were lost.

Sensor issues

I bought two of these and have tried all the different settings to get the sensors working properly. The sensor is great for the camera, the issue is the lights constantly go on. As soon as the light turns off it triggers and goes on again. I have tried the sensor settings, I have even tried pointing the sensor at the ground to eliminate any triggers. Both lights do this, if it was one I’d say it was faulty but both of them I’m thinking engineering fault.

PIR sensors work optimally when the camera is mounted around looking down somewhat and the subject of detection passes across their front. You may need to experiment with the sensitivity settings in the app and camera placement to get the ideal setting

Great photos

Frequency of use:Daily
Installed couple of days ago. Very simple only after realising my two mobile phones would not pair. Spent 3 days trying to pair. Must have spent nearly an hour with very helpfull chat line who eventually sugested I asked a friend with a more up to date phone. In the end managed to pair using an Amazon fire 10 tablet. Once paired was even able to view on the two phones which would not pair. In conclusion if you try to pair with phone with updates over two years old it will not pair. Now up and running GREAT. However only one of the two floodlights was working. This I found was a broken contact wire on LED. After a spoit of solder now fine Graham.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super Bright and Great Clarity

I love this security floodlight. It was very easy to install and so easy to sync up with the Swann app.

Fantastic floodlight camera

Had the slimline floodlight for around 6 weeks works a treat the lights are really bright you can turn them up or down. The flashing red and blue lights will deter any unwanted guests the camera is great to

Faulty Flood light turning on and off at night without motion.

I have the exact same issue as the other user review. I also bought two of these and have tried all the different settings and the lights constantly go off and on as if the camera detect motion. As soon as the light turns off it triggers and goes on again. I have even completely cover the camera and sensor so I don’t think it is even a sensor issue. Both lights is exactly the same so I am going to contact Swann support to understand what is going on.

Sensor light always on, spotlight failed

My issue is the lights constantly go on. As soon as the light turns off it triggers and goes on again 2 seconds later. I have tried the sensor settings, I have moved it around, up, down, left right, can't find a position to stop this happening. Sent request to Swann but got lengthy response assume computer generated as it does not address my issue! Gave up and since then one of the two security lights have stopped working. How do I return for refund?
