I bought this toaster two months ago and use it occasionally. It already won't latch. Not good quality. Too bad because I love the color.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We appreciate your feedback and we are sorry to hear that your 2-Slice Toaster with Quick-Check Lever, Extra-Wide Slots is not functioning well. Please be advised that the loading handle will not latch if you are
toasting one or two slices of bread and they are placed in the left-hand slots or if your toaster is not connected to the main supply.
To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the toaster and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. Plug the toaster into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the toaster's performance.

Disappointing

This toaster looks nice, but that is the end of positive comments. It has a bagel feature that toast both sides of the bagel. All four of the heating elements glow, even though the bagel button is pushed with vigor. I have tried the computer hack of unplugging it, waiting a minute and plugging it back in, with no success.
The dial for the shade of toast desired is a mute point. If you can read braille, it is no problem. There is no visual means of determining the darkness setting.

Please take note that with Oster® toasters, when a bagel setting is used, the toasting period is longer as compared to regular toasting due to the bagel's thickness. We hope this helps. WASTE OF MONEY

Looks good and that's about all I can say. Advert says it toasts quickly. Well, I could have a little nap before my bread is toasted. I've never had a toaster that takes so long. I had an old, old toaster that didn't look so good which is why I bought this Oster toaster - but the Oster is now going into storage and I will bring out my old ten year old toaster and start enjoying toast again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the ridges and the overall look of the toaster. It's a basic toaster but does the trick for morning toast and waffles. I highly recommend!

Toaster Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toaster is a nice blue color and the style is kind of retro. Included are the standard features that I normally expect to have with a toaster (bagel and frozen settings), but this toaster also has a quick check lever. I really like that I can use this feature to lift the toast up part way through the toasting cycle to check its doneness. After checking, you just lower the lever back down and the cycle continues. No more awkwardly trying to peer into the toaster to see if your bread is perfectly golden. This toaster has a convenient removable crumb tray which I really appreciated for ease of keeping the toaster clean. The slots on the toaster are very wide and fit even a very fluffy bagel. The toaster did a good job of evenly toasting my bread product, and the plastic outer covering did not get hot during use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't realize it was possible to love a toaster until I got this one. First off, it's pretty and goes well with my kitchen. The lever mechanism is so smooth and I love the lever rise feature. The buttons are easily pressed and the dial is easy to read. Toasts bread beautifully.
