Got this watch for my 9 year old son and he loves.

He is super motivated to get his steps in everyday. We recently went on a ski trip and it was fun to see all the skiing data it collected!

Good upgrade

Instinct 2S replaced Coros pace2 (too much long distance bias for me). Owned a forerunner35 before coros
Instinct 2 has current health stats and reviewing them is fairly easy on watch or app.
Dont find it as easy to make own workouts that do what was so simple on forerunner: pick duration and number of reps, set time, start! Does not happen with instinct

The best watch you can buy!

I love this watch. I had the original instinct watch and it lasted me 4 years! The new instinct 2S has amazing features and many upgrades. I love that there are different size screens to pick from and being a smaller lady I love that I got a smaller screen as it feels less like I have a watch on 24/7. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone but especially those that work in a rugged job or have rough and tough hobbies. This watch has withstood many different things and holds up every time!

First thing was I had trouble syncing my instinct 2s with my phone. I felt silly when I finally figured out I needed to scroll down to in the app. Please move the button up closer to the top. I suggest going to YouTube and learn how to operate the watch. As everything these days the instructions are very lacking.

-Charge lasts a week
-Simple interfaces for health and navigation
-Durable
-Basic navigation is easy to sync up and use on the trail

-Monochrome display can be difficult to see, especially in the dark
-Limited functionality (you can get texts, not reply. It is not an apple watch)

I wanted something I didn’t have to worry about charging every day and this definitely has the battery life! It is user friendly, the band feels awesome and it is light weight.

Alot in A Little Watch

I've been using HRM athletic watches since the mid 1990's and since I stopped running 20 yrs ago , I mainly cycled. Having a Garmin Edge on the bike has been great and have always had great results and durability in all my other Garmin products so, when I decided to get a "smart watch", I found this on discount and decided to give it a go! I choose the small face because I like a minimal profile, band just barely fits but functions well. The functions are intuitive and now that I am utilizing my Edge for Zone training, the watch keeps me connected to my iPhone and I can monitor weather an messages while training. I just purchased a new Edge 840 and expect More Garmin integration between my bike and watch and phone! Very happy, has more features than I will ever need and like the red color.
