Battery life is fantastic, heart rate monitor is accurate, able to track the workout stats I want to as well as use as a daily watch.

I bought this watch about a month ago. I have several other Garmins but I liked the solar feature. Like also that it tells me lots of data. I
I’m glad I got the “s” model as I have a small wrist. You do need to read the manual as all the features are not obvious or intuitive, like starting the wide selection of intuitiedcgh

I bought this a month ago and have been in love with it since. I had a garmin 230 and it was About time I updated. The features have won me over! It’s basically the same watch but obviously more updated, and better features.

User-friendly and COOL!

I switched from the Vivoactive to the Instinct. I thought I was going to miss the touch screen and colors but honestly, the Instinct is so much easier to use and has way more features! Love that I can charge it via solar, especially when I'm out on long river trips or backpacking trips. It tracks my activities very accurately. I have yet to use the actual GPS feature but I imagine it's great.

Not so good, but it's possible to fix it

Good: works as expected. Have good heart controll(not always alarm about high value). Have hot keys. Have app.
Bad: sometimes time of minutes doesn't update well and when it should switch from 51 to 52 it stop on 51 and 52 time together. It will be good to add to hotkey 'notification' tab. Sometimes it disconnected with phone even if autostart is on. Also it connected only when I start app.

I had a problem with the first watch I got. But garmin replaced it for me. But about the watch, it's an amazing device for running, skiing, snowboarding and other activities.
