Fits the bill for fitness/training tracking

EDIT: Apparently something has changed with the accompanying phone app and it is now near impossible for me to sync my calendar to show upcoming planned workouts.
This watch is fantastic for tracking training. There are a variety of workout types to log, including hiking which is my primary use case as I am working with the uphill athlete program and like to see my progress over time.
When using the workouts, the screens can be customized to show various data points which is super helpful as different things are important during different activities.
Setting your custom heart rate zones could be a bit more intuitive, but nothing google couldn't help me with.
Overall: if you are doing any kind of serious training and want to track your progress, this watch does a pretty darn good job and battery life has been great.

I absolutely love it. Love all the data it gives me throughout my day. Love comparing my results with my boyfriend who also owns a Fenix watch.

I upgraded from the 935 Forerunner after I saw my husband Fenix 6. The touchscreen is a huge bonus compared to the Fenix 6, good battery time, and soooo much data.

Mostly good, a few issues

Overall, I'm fairly happy. I'm a longtime Garmin sport watch user/customer. I've owned a 735, a fenix 6, a Swim 2. I won't go into all the things I like because there are too many to list. But there are two things that really bother me:
1. The watches break too easily. Both hardware and software. My most recent fenix 7, which was less than 18 months old, the Start | Stop button stopped working. So i had ot send it back. This has happened with every watch I've owned from Garmin except the Swim 2. I wish they would address this. And yes, they did send me a replacement, but it is a refurbished watch, not a new watch.
2. The watch does NOT count long course meters swimming very well. When I do backstroke, and swim 50 meters, the watch thinks I did 100. Again, this is something that is a long-running issue and should be fixed.

Awesome watch and great service

I love my fenix can't live without it. Keeps me updated with my life activities and my heath stats as a amateur athlete are important. The HRV stats allow me to workout at optimum efficiency and when I need to back off. Amazing watch I will use this product for the rest of my life. I had an issue with a button and warranty replaced it in 2 days. Can't beat the watch or the service. Thanks
