Goes wrong frequently

I have had to return this watch as the screen went wrong on it. The watch I now have constantly resets itself and one of the buttons has become atucky

Epix 2 Stuck on logo

The watch has been good overall just one major issue. This past month the watch was stuck twice on the garmin logo startup for whatever reason and nothing I did would take it out of it and I had to wait a day for it to just fix itself. Not sure what is happening but if it continue to do it I can’t do nothing about it. I’ve watched videos on similar experiences but nothing helped. Had it over a year now and I’m hoping it doesn’t continue to happen. As long as it doesn’t the watch is perfect

Xiaomi 15 ultra

Dear Garmin Team, I’m enjoying my Garmin Epix Gen 2 overall, but I faced issues when connecting to my new Xiaomi 15 Ultra. I had to reset the watch to factory settings twice, which was inconvenient. Post-reset, the main screen data is not fully displayed. Please address compatibility with Xiaomi devices and fix these display issues in future firmware updates. Thank you for your work!

Been wearing this for over a year now and it still doesn’t even have a scratch on the glass. Coming from an Apple Watch so it took some getting used used too but now it’s pretty easy to to navigate. Had to change out the band for something a little more breathable. Seems to track biking and running well along with sleep. The workouts on it don’t seem to count the lifting reps very well so so I find myself constantly having to adjust those. Battery life is great. Does seem to wear down much faster when doing workouts that use the gps and tracking. Overall though, very happy.

Should improve

I’ve had several Garmin devices for tracking my performance, I’ve ran several marathon with Garmin watches: 235, Fenix 5 and this Epix: while I’ve been using my watch for the last two years, I think the Fenix 5 has a much better and stable performance (I still use it from time to time) my Fenix looks nicer (although being older) and in general the applications updates of my epix have made it slower and sometimes it freezes in the middle of a run or a ride.
It feels like if I needed a better responsive watch I’ve should skip the epix and go directly to the Fenix 8.
I will definitely be considering buying a more expensive but reliable watch than the next iteration of epix

Very happy with my purchase and quite an upgrade from my vivoactive 4 from a few years ago...features that I'm still figuring out and sleep monitoring has been a great addition since I suffer from Restless Leg Syndrome.
