Bright and colorful screen is a pleasure to view. Intuitive operation for the widest variety of activities including hiking, running, biking and swimming, etc. Displays key information for each workout which can be personalized to specific needs. Programmable workouts a breeze to create. Measurements of biometrics help guide both activities and recovery. A fantastic tool for training.

The Best Activity Watch

I use this watch to track all the activity stats for running, biking, cycling and backcountry hiking. It certainly give the user the best GPS location tracking but it also captures and displays heart rate and heart rate zone, blood pressure, speed, pace, distance, elevation, location and many more. It also tracks your daily life like sleep, steps, body battery, and wraps this up in a fitness age. Lastly, the 64,000 colors give a clear and easy to read data screens and map displays to include top maps.

The best activity watch out there

I had Garmin Fenix before for many years and loved it and recommended it to many people. The Epix is just as good but with a gorgeous screen. I don't use it with the always on display and I get 1-2 weeks between charges depending on how many activities I do. Great for sports and outdoors enthusiasts, beginners and experts alike.

Best Garmin watch I have ever owned

I ride all the bikes, do strength training, swim, run, hike and I am learning to backcountry ski. In all of these things I am a numbers junkie and this watch meets and exceeds all my needs. I wear glasses and the display on the Epic is the easiest for me to see with or without my glasses. Wether you are a beginner just getting into multiple disciplines or a pro needed in depth tracking or analysis, this watch looks great and delivers all the info you could possibly want.

Make the switch from Apple!

This watch is AMAZING! I wanted to wait to post anything until I've had it for at least a couple weeks. The data that is able to be tracked and utilized is incredible. I've had an Apple Watch for the last 5 years and kept going back and forth between the new Ultra and the Epix - but I'm so happy I picked Epix. 6 day battery life is a game changer. The sleep metrics, body battery, and training readiness are HUGE for analyzing your recovery in between lifts and runs. Cant wait to hit the ski trails with the built in maps and use it for hiking trips next year!
The size can look intimidating (especially for someone like me with small wrists) but it is super lightweight to the point I forget it's there. Also, the screen display is gorgeous.
Seriously, if you're stuck between any other fitness watch and this watch, and care mostly about the activity platform, data, and tracking - make the switch. I was hesitant to see if I would miss my Apple Watch and the bells and whistles (texting from it, answering calls, surfing apps) but I don't at all. I actually like the fact that Garmin separates itself in that way with the main focus being adventure. Love love love this thing!

Best sports watch ever!

This watch blows every other sports watch out of the water. It has solid battery life (usually 4-5 days for me), is extremely accurate, and has all of the activities / features i want. Would recommend 10 out of 10.
