2nd Garmin Watch and Still LOVE!!!

I wore the Garmin Fenix 3HR daily for over 5 years. I loved the watch and used it for golf, swim, hiking, running, etc. It was time for an update and I purchased the Garmin Epix watch. I have loved the brighter screen and long battery life. The GPS has also been much more accurate than the Fenix 3HR was. Overall, another great Garmin watch I hope to enjoy for the next 5 years or more.

Fantastic watch for what it is. I use this for a lot of running, working out, and the occasional biking. The screen being bright is useful for being outside in the sun, and the materials overall seem to be holding up well. The full price on the watch could be scary to someone, but the discounted price puts the watch close to an Apple watch of the latest gen, which in comparison, this is so much more worth the money, dollar per dollar. The sleep tracking and battery life make this watch worth it for me every day!

Daily wearable and capable sportswatch

Been wearing this daily for roughly 6 months now. I wear it as my everyday watch, and use it for Biking, Hiking, and Running. It's been up and down mountains all over the country and never misses a beat. Battery life is excellent and able to go several days tracking activities on a single charge.
Coming from a Samsung Smart Watch and then Garmins own Venu, I can say the Epix is on the larger side, and if not properly fastened, can cause wrist fatigue while on long downhill descents on the Enduro bike from bouncing around.
Other than that, it's a fantastic watch!

The readability and tracking is phenomenal. Battery life with everything on is adequate. I charge twice a week and use the GPS daily for activities. If you take on a longer trip you would need a battery pack, or you would need to adjust your settings.

Thanks to the Garmin Epix watch I'm learning so much about my body. Helps me to track calories burned, intensity of my workouts, sleep habits, etc. Steep price but worth all the data you get over time.

Epic Epix!

I've owned 2 Apple Watches which both ended up on my kids wrists instead of mine within a few months. When the Apple Ultra was released I was tempted but all of my buddies use some version of a Garmin watch and they all love theirs. So far it serves me far better than the Apple Watch. The Epix is the perfect companion to my active life while the Apple is a perfect companion to my iPhone. If you're looking for pure functionality this is it. And it looks great as well! Highly recommend to anyone who's on the fence between an Apple Watch and a Garmin and who is also active. Not sure if I needed this nice of a Garmin watch but I don't have anything bad to say about it.
