I have a Fenix 6 and added this to the collection in order to get touch screen. The Fenix 6 was robust and I liked everything about it except having to button through menus. Touch screen has alleviated this frustration. My use for this watch is primarily for tracking fitness which is excels at. I went with white for something different. I would have gone silver if it were offered.

ultra reliable, intuitive, rock solid, sexy and built like a tank.
used for trail running, kayaking, sleep tracking, heart rate, hiking, snowboarding, etc, etc

An excellent watch that does what it's supposed to very well. Battery life is consistent and reliable, and all of Garmin's activity functions round out an overall great experience. I wanted a watch with "enough" phone connectivity without being a phone on my wrist, and this meets that need while also being a really great life tool.

Love the visibility of the screen in all light conditions. The touch screen is great too. Also tracks Pulse Ox. Tracks Mtb and hiking tracks accurately and great for monitoring workouts. Also has a sweet flashlight mode for when you forget your headlamp. Good for beginners or experts. Only thing I don't really like is the charging cable, but on energy save mode it lasts up to 14 days as a watch (less if tracking) Oh and the map is good too. Has a lot of trail on it already to follow at a glance.

watch never leaves my arm day and night, work and all races. Indoor, outdoor and underwater activities record flawlessly. Only one point lost for finish on the face of the watch which has worns slightly with the abuse
