Switched to the Epix after multiple generation of fenix. Absolutely love the display. All the functionality I could need and love the continued software upgrades. Great watch. May consider solar next time if available to help increase battery life beyond 1 week.

i've owned the fenix series and my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. the bright display on the epix is amazing. the heart rate monitor is accurate and the overall watch is well made.

Excellent smart adventure watch

I've been using this to track my workouts, runs, sleep, recovery (resting HR and HRV), etc. It has been remarkably consistent and generally "agrees" with my other recovery device (the Whoop band) - but the two are sometimes a little off from each other but directionally aligned. The touchscreen is beautiful and easy to use and the satellite acquisition is fast. Battery life is great. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants a top quality device to track running, hiking, steps, or recovery - it does it all. I will probably use 25% of the features on this thing. It's awesome!

Epix sapphire, simply the best

I upgraded my Fenix hr3 to the Epix Sapphire. This watch is easily my favorite ever and beats the competition for the details I find most important. The screen is super bright and I can actually see it easily while I'm running in daylight. The sapphire and titanium are tough. I really like the health tracking software. Overall, this watch meets every expectation I had. The Battery lasts plenty long for all of my activities: mtn biking, running, skiing, hiking and all gym workouts.
