Lots of options and great battery life.

I bought my epix Gen(2) titanium sapphire watch about a month ago, on a Black Friday deal, and I like all the features and versatility. I love the battery life which under normal use is about 16 days. It takes a little while to figure out the Garmin Connect and Express apps to get added features, maps and software updates but it is worth the effort. Buttons are configurable and I can get text messages and notifications pushed from my phone, which are also configurable. The sleep mode and the morning report are nice features and all the health monitors and coaching are helpful to keep me motivated. I can load offline music for phone free use while going for a walk or working out. It will connect via Bluetooth to my phone and headphones, which is great. Two usage cons I found are the complexity, because it does so much, and remembering how to get to the different features. Time may help with these. Another con are the 3rd party free apps that continue to try and get you to upgrade to a paid app. I wish they would tell you that up front so you don't waste time installing and uninstalling them. The last is why I only gave it 4 stars. Overall, this was a great purchase and I would recommend this Garmin product.

Great watch

I bought this watch a month ago, to pair with my garmin alpha 300, it works great for keeping tabs on my dogs without having to look at my remote. I got a great Black Friday deal on it and if I wasn’t a mechanic I would wear it everyday.

I bought this Garmin after many hours of research about 3 weeks ago. it replaces my Instinct 2 Solar. I don't the Instinct solar charging at all. This Epix Gen2 is much more powerful, better battery life and the list goes on and on. Great watch, love the mapping features and the watch faces etc...

Solid watch and love the new screen

I had a Fenix for a number of years and when the battery finally started to fade I started looking for a replacement. The Epix was a solid choice, mainly because I wanted the features but more so for the updated screen!

Having just had two stents put into my heart, this watch has been a tremendous help during rehab and recovery. Especially the heart beats per minute, number of steps and sleep. The oxygen would be amazing, and it does have that feature, however it does not work very well. Otherwise great watch, looks good, great apps available for it, and battery life is great.
