Amoled display is the best for older eyes

Just got it last month, on sale. Upgraded from fenix 7s to Epix 2 47mm, smoked display is amazing. I can run in summer weather & check my pace easier, don't have to squint eyes, I'm 50 years old female & loving Epix model so much

Well I came from the Venue 2 and the experience with it was and still amazing but I thought it was time to upgrade my watch so I dig into some info about the Fenix and the Epix and went for the Epix Gen2 Firstly because it suited my needs and secondly because it was on sale. Bottom line if you are a sport enthusiast this device is a work of art.

I've been using the Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire Edition for several weeks, and it has exceeded my expectations in nearly every aspect. As a long-time runner and outdoor enthusiast, I find this watch an incredible upgrade.
Performance: The GPS accuracy is spot-on, even in more remote areas where other devices struggle. Whether running, hiking, or playing golf, I can rely on it to provide accurate distance, pace, and elevation data. The watch is incredibly responsive and handles every activity tracking smoothly without lag.
Battery Life: The battery life is impressive for a watch with an AMOLED display. I've gotten through several long runs and daily usage without worrying about charging it frequently. In regular use, it comfortably lasts over a week, and even with heavy GPS tracking, it still offers solid endurance.

Well Worth Buying a Higher Quality Smartwatch

Bought this recently and you can't beat it. Have had the Venu and Vivoactive Series along with Instinct and Fenix and epix Gen 2 blows them all away. Health and sleep tracking superior; Activities tracking have so much data availability that you can monitor. Easy and intuitive setup.

So much information!

Getting to know my Garmin has been quite an experience coming from Apple Series 6, but well worth it. My triathlon training schedule from Training Peaks pairs well so I can stay true to my workouts. The only thing I am having issues with is my music from Spotify cutting out during my runs EVERY TIME. It starts out perfect and by mile 3, it starts cutting out. It’s very distracting and disappointing.

Upgraded from the vivoactive to the epix, white band. World of difference. Used the ConnectIQ app to customize the watch face to the Glance Pro.

Having difficulty with apps

I am 72 yrs old and wanted a watch for time and golf. My other watch was very heavy. I am still trying to get use it to find golf courses and want to remove the morning routine that I somehow turned on. I can't get anything on the watch for golf courses and when trying to 'connect', it says connected but wants to go thru 8 steps, but stops at 3 and I can't figure out how to move on. I am going to have to ask my kids to help me figure this watch out.
