I recently bought a fenix 8 sapphire, and it’s is so unfunctional that I had to reconfigure my Epix 2 to use until Garmin gets around to fixing the many many bugs in the Fenix.

Like it a lot but seems like it loses connection to phone more time than I'd like. It's that blasted Garmin connect app that is wonky. Frankly, just figuring out how to get the connect iq store to interface with it is too many steps. But I'm glad I bought it. Just wonky connection stuff.

Best Upgrade to my Training

Advanced training metrics and sleep tracking have already made a difference in my training system. Things like load ratio and being able to account for all activities as accumulated load is a game changer, versus having a cycling computer that only accounts for cycling activities. Major upside is having all metrics available on my wrist, as opposed to relying on connect or needing to use my cycling computer to look at training history in depth. Absolutely love the all-red screen for night mode and the low-power faces that eliminate distraction during sleep hours.

Love, love, love it

As a former Forerunner owner, the Epix Sapphire is perfect for me. From the brilliance of the screen - more important for older folk - to the plethora of features, I am thrilled to wear this watch. Data for swimming, hiking and yoga is superb. Important: You must turn off Battery Saver to get sleep data. This is NOT listed anywhere. Overall, the clarity of the screen and the many capabilities of Epix Gen2 are just phenomenal.

I've been through several generations of Galaxy watches, most recently Watch 5 Pro, and finally had enough of the short battery life. The new Watch 7 and Ultra don't offer much improvement, so I decided to check out Garmin watches. The prices were a turn-off at first, but then I found this great deal on the Epix. I'm very pleased with it so far, especially the battery life measured in days rather than hours. It has all of the health tracking features I need, and the fitness tracking is superior to the Galaxy watches. The display is clear and bright, and the watch works seamlessly with my Samsung phone for texts and notifications. The UI is less intuitive, but easy to use once learned. Overall very glad I made the switch!

Garmin Epix Gen 2 Sapphire is amazing! I was an Apple Watch user for years and didn't realize what I was missing. I workout, hike, and play golf and Garmin is perfect for all 3. You can set-up custom workouts to track progress, download hiking maps to track your routes (and so much more!), and track every golf shot and the yardage by club. I am just getting started as this watch offers so much more. Only wished I had changed over sooner.

Epix goes beyond expectations

This is my 4th Garmin product to purchase. As a runner and golfer, I absolutely love this multi-sport watch. Not only does it track activities, but it has so many features to do much more! From maps, courses, stats and suggestions, it goes way beyond my expectations. I plan on watching videos posted by other users so I can use it to the maximum!
