Great experience from a secondhand buyer

I bought this second hand. So far it has been a great experience. It calculates everything I need it to, and has nice animations and features. Very customizable. I feel like the screen could be bigger, as the glass part is bigger than the screen part. I maybe could have gotten the 965 to better suite my needs, but I like the IU much better, and the extra ruggedness is nice.

I've had the epix gen2 for about a month. Still learning all the functions, but very happy with the purchase.

Everything is great except for the buttons

Great sportswatch, even a couple years after it's released, everything you need. GPS can throw weird signals occasionally on the non-sapphire version, but its acceptable for the most part. On-watch maps are great, especially when navigating new places, as well as when you get lost (as ive done).
Only a month with it, but already a couple buttons seem to be not as 'clicky' as what they used to be. I read this issue existed, and will see if it gets worse. Everything seems to function okay, just not as sure about some of the presses i make.
Battery life is great, but can i experienced a bit of accelerated drain from listening to music, podcasts or audiobooks on my watch when on a run. Should still easily last a marathon, but don't expect the 1-2 weeks advertised if that's the use case

Expensive and inaccurate

This watch has tons of features but they are difficult to access, the instructions might as well be in a foriegn and ancient obsolete language, and the accuracy of what I can access is non-existent except for heart rate. I wish I’d bought something else.

Crazy battery life!

This is exactly what I was looking for in a smart watch. I wanted a smart watch that didn’t look like a smart watch. The easy mechanism for changing bands is a plus. I went 18 days in between charges, this changes depending on how much you use the features obviously. I could go on and on but A+ all around.

Love the screen

I’m 53 years old. And my vision isn’t in the best shape. Using the other models of Garmin smartwatches, I’m having a hard time for getting info from their screens.
Instead, with my new Epix, everything is very clear!
