Perfect watch for me.

I've had my Epix 2 sapphire for about a year now and have to say it has held up very very well. Still loving the build quality, screen, looks, and the updates. The watch is performing perfectly for all of my activities - hikes, walks, rowing, spin classes, and treadmill. And because it's built like a tank, it's still looks like new. Only minor scratch and a ding. Will definitely recommend.

Apple Watch Killer

Love this as an upgrade from the Fenix series. The screen is amazing and all the trusty Garmin features integrate flawlessly with my other devices. Beats the Apple Watch easily for training purposes and holds up as a lifestyle watch too. Battery life is pretty good given the screen.

It is great when it works

I've been using the Epix 2nd Generation watch across a broad spectrum of sports activities, including running, biking, hiking, skiing, and sailing. Having owned five other Garmin multisport watches in the past, I can confidently say that the Epix 2nd Gen stands out with its impressive feature set and stunning display.
While some users have raised concerns about the battery life, I find it more than satisfactory. It lasts for 14 days without GPS, and around 7 days with my usual 5-6 GPS activities per week.
However, I've had to dock two stars from my rating due to durability issues. This is already my third Epix-2. The first one developed a stuck button after about six months, and the replacement, the second watch had a faulty oxygen and heart rate sensor within a month. I'm not entirely convinced that this third watch will outlast the previous Garmin watches I've owned.
I experienced similar issues with the 1st Generation Epix. The Fenix line seems to be more robust, but that could just be a coincidence.
All in all, if this Epix-2 can serve me well for another 2-3 years, I'll be content.

Love this watch for running and fitness tracking. The only thing this watch could improve on is its smartphone functions, but is phenomenal other than that

Amazing watch, with issues after about a year

I love the watch and how easy it is to use. Great for running and MTB, with amazing screen options. Long battery life and stilish finish to use as an everyday watch( besides a sports gadget). Unfortunately after about a year when the battery is lower that 50%, in gesture mode, the screen starts flickeing and it is hard to get the screen to stay on. Shame, I bought the watch with the idea of using it for at least 3-4 years but the flicking issues is pretty annoying

Functionally great, in need of hardware upgrade.

Love my Epix Gen 2. Performance and battery life are great. With that said, and comparing to the Apple Watch Ultra, the Epix feels cheap. the bezel scratches way to easily as well. This wouldnt be the end of the world but its also 100 more expensive. Also, this watch needs wireless charging.

I’m really happy with my Epix 2. The screen is beautiful and I love the integration with Trainging Peaks so all my structured workouts are on here. Had an issue with my first one after a few months but garmin promptly sent a brand new one which was awesome.
