I bought it for it's GOLF app but came with MORE!

The golf GPS app is amazing. Besides giving yardages it tracks your golf course and how many hits and the exact location of your stroke played. All display on a 2-D map. What I've learned is that the Gramin Epix does a lot more than just golf! It tracked my gym workouts and some how know what muscle groups I'm working on that day!!! Crazy technology.

I've only had it 2 weeks now, but I don't think I could go back to my galaxy 5 pro. I really like Garmin's app and the way they give you your stats and real time metrics. I'm still playing around with everything this watch can do, but after having both Apple and Samsung watches there is something about Garmin that hits differently. Oh, and the battery life is fantastic!

I was on the fence about buying the Epix for several months mostly due to the price. This watch is amazing with the fitness tracking and accuracy. Plus the display is a huge upgrade from my previous Garmin.

I’ve had my Epix for about a month and I love it! I had a Fenix 7X and the Epix’ AMOLED screen is an awesome upgrade. It’s so much better to look at and provides higher definition in the characters.

I have the Fenix 5 and was very happy with it until I started having problems charging it. Switched to the Galaxy 5pro but although the watch was a very good smartwatch it couldn't hold a candle to Garmin when it came to fitness and essentially golf. I took the plunge and bought the Epix. Have to admit I was a bit weary spending 1000 buck on a watch.... But wow. I'm so glad I did. The golf app is spectacular.. the gps is fast and it's very comfortable to wear. I love it! Love the touch screen and the battery life is insane.

Amazing watch

This watch has met and probably has exceeded my expectations. The hardware is excellent. The software is very responsive. Sure, you're limited in apps compared to an Apple watch, but the battery life is up to a dozen times better if you set the display to come on with a wrist gesture and last 6 days even with the screen turned on. The AMOLED screen has got to be the best in the business. I was a bit skeptical that it would be bright enough in daytime outdoors but it's just fine. Although geared towards the serious athlete this watch is a great choice for anyone who is active, especially outdoors. I have this watch paired with my pixel 6 smartphone and it works great with it. I was even able to download pixel watch faces to it.
