Great watch! Would like a longer band option.

Really enjoy the EPIX 2. Got it primarily for the GPS features. Still learning all the settings/functions. The screen colors, brightness and resolution are amazing. There are only 2 things I’d change. It would be nice to have it available in the 51 mm case and have options for longer bands. I’ve tried 4 different bands and the are all barely long enough. The band fit would be better if there was an extra 1/2” on the buckle side. The quick fit system is very convenient when changing bands.

Awesome screen display

I upgraded to the Epix from an Instinct 2 for the sole reason that I could not read the Instinct 2 at night. It is worth every penny in the price difference. The color display, clarity of information, touch features and the additional information displayed is fantastic. I can also read it very easily at night. The only downside so far is the battery life which is minor. The Instinct 2 lasted about 24 days on a full charge while the Epix lasted just about 14 days doing the same workout routines (MTB, Cardio, HIIT, Walk, Hike). Quick release band is also a cool feature that the Instinct does not have. Very easy to switch bands for different activities.
I debated between the Epix, Fenix 7x and even Apple Ultra for weeks. Super happy I went with the Epix. Can't wait to surf and golf with it to see what that looks like.

My favorite Garmin so far!

I’m a triathlete and I’ve had this watch for 2 weeks and absolutely love it! Previously, I’ve worn Fenix, Enduro and a couple of Forerunners. The AMOLED display is terrific. Battery life is solid and it works just like it’s supposed to. A home run for me.

AMOLED screen and battery life

The AMOLED screen was the primary differentiator for me buying the Epix over the Fenix 7. Though the Epix does have some touchscreen function, the buttons were a little difficult to get used to, after having a Vivoactive 4. Still the on screen data and battery life of the Epix compared to the my older watch and even the 7, is pretty amazing and more than enough for my fitness purposes.

A trusted and stylish training partner!

I’ve been wearing my epix 24/7 for about 10 months now. I absolutely love it! It’s been my training partner for all distances, 10k, half, and full marathon. The GPS accuracy is crazy good and the software updates have only made the Epix even better! Make sure to select the auto-select GPS mode. I wish I could rapidly respond to texts… but that’s more on Apple than Garmin. The AMOLED screen is amazing and never had any visibility issues, even at peak sunlight during Virginia summer.

Super Watch

Super recommended watch if you are an athlete or simply want to have the best smartwatch on the market. The battery life is very good compared to an Apple Watch or a Samsung Watch (6 days using all functions) The interface of the watch is very complete. At first you'll have a hard time learning where all the menus and functions are, but then you'll enjoy the whole interface. The 5 buttons are super useful and work great. You get used to just using the buttons, you won't end up using the touch screen. It's worth what it costs. Highly recommended.

Love this watch! If you are active, want to be active, soon to be active this watch is for you! There is nothing it can't track, GPS is amazing, display is bright and beautiful, lots of personal customizations possible. You won't be disappointed.
