Visibility is everything

I've had a Fenix 5 and a Fenix 6 Pro. I assumed I'd get the Fenix 7, but started reading about the screen on the Epix and I made the switch. With the Fenix, I would sync data and view it my iPhone. With the Epix, I view it very comfortably right on my wrist. I have the screen light only on movement and battery life is a solid 16 days.

I've had my Epix 2 for a few weeks now and I love it. I'm coming from a Garmin 735xt and this is a great upgrade. Solid battery life, amazing screen, tons of functionality and just an overall great watch. I look forward to continuing to learn more.

Fantastic Device

Ordered my epix on release date and got it about a month later. In short, its exactly what I expected and was looking for. I upgraded from a fenix 5 plus, and was debating between this and the fenix 7. The amoled screen looks amazing and I can deal with the shorter (5-7 day) battery. Most of the features are standard as expected. My wife just got the venu2 and overall Id say those are comparable, but i like the heftier/more rugged looks of the epix.

Took a little while to customize to my preferences. There are a lot of ways to customize this thing. But the data provided is deep and helpful. Once set to my tastes, the watch faces, the widgets, and the phone software provided all the info. I could ask for. And the quickness of the gps connection time is saving precious years of my life. All in all, a great fitness product

Previous to this watch I was alternating between my Apple Watch series 6 and my Fenix 5x. This watch has taken the place for both. I love it!!

Shockingly good!

I have been using Garmin Fenix watches since they were first launched. They were great but the sporty appearance and display wasn't a great fit for certain occasions. The Epix Gen 2 pretty much all the sports functionality of the Fenix watches with a state of the art screen and unmatched battery life for this class of display. The bright sharp display and the battery life just blew me away. I get a full week of battery life wearing it 24X7 with 5 one-hour activities each week and with the always-on display active. Appearance has been upgraded as well, so it is now my go to watch for everything - sports, casual, travel and business.

Too complicated

As a new user I find the introduction videos and start up guides woefully lacking in step by step usage to make it easy for the new user. Trying to keep up with the videos while using the watch is impossible. Too bad. Intro step by step guides are necessary.

Epix Gen 2

The watch was initially amazing. The touch screen was very responsive. The AMOLED display was full of bright, vibrant colors. I unfortunately had sound issues when I played the music I had uploaded on the device. I returned the watched. I have since researched that Garmin published a firmware update to fix the issue I was having.
