Long lasting battery!

It has more apps then I will probably ever use. I will use the GPS, Health monitoring, eather report/radar. I have the 51mm 7X with a large screen. I like the touchscreen which is faster then buttoning your way through the menus. It has a large battery that last for days, along with solar power. And the flashlight is nice and bright. Very waterproof. I would really like to see a brighter screen and the ability to make and take phone calls. But it is still the best smart watch that I have presently owned.

Bought the 7x right before a trip to Idaho.
On multiple hikes I was able to watch heart rate , distance ,elevation, my path ect ect..and I haven't spent the time yet to learn all options available.

this is my second Garmin Watch so i opted for the size X which at first i thought was a bit big however after wearing it for a few days i got accustomed to it really fast it was actually very comfortablle even at nights for sleeping. i am totally addicted to my watch its like i cant function without it.
the only thing i might change a bit is getting a better understanding of the solar charging. To me it doesnt charge the watch it just slows the discharge rate. there should be a feature where upon opening the feature which shows the LX hours for the day it should go a bit further to explain how much percentage charge was gained for that period.

Happy with my watch upgrade

I bought this watch to replace a Vivoactive 4. I am very please. I have yet to use it on a hike but I am looking forward to it. The battery life is a big plus for me and just all the extra features.

Picked up a Fenix 7 last month. I feel that the plethora of information that it is putting at my fingertips is having a significantly positive impact on the consistency and effectiveness of my efforts to extend my longevity... and... more importantly... quality of life.
