I think this is a great tool for anybody who is getting out in places with no cell phone reception. I used mine to help me know where I am at at all times.

After much hiking and daily workouts logged with this device, it has proven to live up to the brand name and quality. Battery life is amazing and GPS options are great!

Solid watch for fitness and exploring

So many features and capabilities I still have a lot to do to use this watch to its fullest. So far the fitness tracking has been the most used feature. The touch screen and mapping are great improvements from previous models. Only reason for 4 stars from me is a quick method of inputting gps coordinates from your phone to the watch. An app may exist, but not one I've been able to find.

Premium Watch with a caveat

The watch performs as it should, as a consumer we spend premium money for garmin products and now. Garmin has bated and switched on the consumer with Garmin Connect Plus. The consumer would think paying prices for these products the features that are added by Connect plus would continue to be free, how disappointing. This will be the last Garmin product I will be purchasing.
