Awesome pice of equipment

Did a lot of research on watches and I found the best one for me is the fenix 7.Ease of use and touch screen for underwater use as not to use buttons.all around great watch!!!!

Fenix7 features good; but button control errors

I bought 2 weeks ago; generally like watch, features; may not be worth price
1.Some GPS errors in mountains, tree-lined trails
2. Maps need download GPX to be useful
3. Main stop/start button or firmware errors- sometimes start exercise button doesn't work; have to backup to main menu

Regret touchscreen

I am not sure how I did it but somehow when I upgraded from my fenix 5 to the fenix 7 I ended up getting a touch screen. I didn't notice until I bought it. It constantly is getting messed up when the screen gets brushed. I have lost data because of it and am wondering if there is a way to disable it. If not I may go back to my fenix 5

Pretty Solid Watch, but Go Solar

I did enjoy the watch but did return this model to update to the solar model. For a little more money I did find having solar capabilities worth it if you are looking for extensions in battery life. If your coming from Forerunner the fenix series can feel bulky at first, but should get used to it in time.

What an upgrade!

Had to replace my Fenix 3 and wow! Just a huge upgrade from my old watch. Better battery life, screen, data, add music and no more chest strap. Also, like being able to respond to texts from the watch. Wish I had upgraded sooner!

Love My Garmin Felix 7

I just had to. I’m coming from being a Polar fan for years, but not anymore. Garmin products are the best hands down!!! Superior build quality and value. To think I was considering an Apple Watch at one time. Would have been a bad purchase decision. Bottom line I love my Fenix so much I bought the Venu2 and Venu to swap out for styling effects. Way to go Garmin. All we need is a widgets for Apple IPhone users to complete perfection.

Loving my first smart watch

My wife gave me the Fenix7 for our 30th wedding anniversary. Previously I used Strava to track major activities. I'm enjoying tracking most of my activities and the data that they generate.

The setup was difficult, not intuitive, and at one point wanted me to reconfigure my home WiFi network to accommodate the watch. I was a Fenix 5 owner previous to this, and have owned many different Forerunner models, and all were solid pieces of gear. This one disappointed out of the box.
